Becoming a popular YouTuber or even gaining followers on social media is hard for many of us. I think joining a women’s network is an alternative to trying to get a million followers. Maybe it works out for others but it didn’t work out for me. I don’t have Kim Kardashian’s money and connections to make my coding school popular. I quite prefer the ambiance inside women’s networks, whether they chat on Slack or via webinars- it’s been friendlier and gives one the confidence to persevere in this lonely world of technology.
