A list of the next actions that are required for each of the "goals" on the RoadMap. This list should include only items that are immediately "doable." Ultimately each goal on the RoadMap could also be broken into individual project pages if this list gets too long. Please add your name after the action if you are working on it. Please add more tasks to the list that you can think of which can be worked on immediately. If they have a prerequisite task, please put that on first!

Next Actions

figure out when 2008 elections are
compile a list of women who are interested in sitting on each of the Ubuntu councils and other leadership roles within the community
compile a list of "core" projects in Ubuntu
- identify contact people for each core project
- identify how many women are currently active in each group.

Projects

These projects need to have their "first step" identified.

identify base level of participation by women in each of the core Ubuntu groups (what is the best way to identify participation? survey? launchpad stats?)
identify the current level of participation by women in the forums (what is the best way to identify participation? survey? launchpad stats?)
- would running a poll in the main discussion forum work? gender isn't indicated in user profiles, so we can't scrape them.
