I had the awesome opportunity to meet Lyz at UDS-O, and I immediately felt at ease with her. She puts so much of her time and energy into the UW team, it is almost impossible not to feel energized about the project if you spend even a few minutes talking with her. She has helped me with my own forays into the Ubuntu community, and she continues to make sure that projects are accomplished. She has been a driving force on the UW leadership team, and I am sure that she will continue to be in the future. -- cheri703 2011-08-06 03:01:57
Lyz is amazing. I have no idea how she manages all the work she does for Ubuntu-Women, but she seems to live in 30-hour days, and I want to know her secret! Of course she is totally qualified for leadership, as she has already shown. - valorie-zimmerman 2012-05-17 13:46:44
Lyz is a born leader, she has skill in resolving and guiding people the right way. She has in the past lead the team and I think she has done an amazing job and she will continue to lead the team again if she is chosen. Her involvement in the larger Ubuntu Community gives her a perspective that not many others have, from being on the CC to the Americas Board to helping anyone on IRC who needs it. She has shown how adaptable she is to leading teams from UW to getting involved in UWN back on track, I believe she will make an excellent leader for UW and she is one the reasons I am still involved in UW because of her work and dedication. - czajkowski 2012-05-17 13:46:44
We have done well under Lyz's leadership and I think we will continue to do so! Her endless energy, superb skill at encouraging others, large amounts of knowledge, dependability, patience, and kindness make her a great leader. I think she'd rock at another term as a U-W leader
