Bio
I have been participating in the Ubuntu Community for almost a year and a half. I have been extremely fortunate to make some great friends and meet amazing people.I am embarking on the adventure of self-employment, as an "Independent IT Consultant"...I fix computers and enjoy teaching people how to use them!
I have run and co-run sessions for UbuntuOpenWeek and UserDays. I'm still getting the hang of doing sessions, but I'm getting there. I am the ReLoCo lead and founder in Mansfield, Ohio, part of the OhioTeam, ,and recently elected to the Ohio LoCo's Council.
I have been part of Ubuntu-Women for a few years now, doing what I can, trying to encourage participation. I participated in the UW UDS session, and I hope to do more!
Future Goals for team
- Encourage mentoring program
- Help create a welcoming resource for women new (or experienced) in Ubuntu, or technology in general.

I've been working with Cheri for several months now and finally had the opportunity to meet her at the Ubuntu Developer Summit in May 2011.
