Asking for technical help on #ubuntu-women
You're probably been sent to this page because you asked for technical help on the irc channel, #ubuntu-women. While you are always welcome to ask for techie help in the channel, help won't always be available, usually for two reasons: we're too busy or not here, or we simply don't know the answer to your query. In either case, you may get redirected to another channel such as the main #ubuntu, a LoCo team channel, or a developer channel.
Don't think that this means we don't want you idling or talking in #u-w! We probably just aren't there or don't have an answer for you.
If you're intimidated by asking in the channel / forum you were redirected to, please do let the person who redirected you know. She or he may have suggestions on how to approach or phrase your question for the best results.
