I work as a Linux Systems Administrator for a Fortune 100 publishing giant. While I use RedHat Enterprise Linux at work, I prefer Ubuntu at home. Also noteworthy, I have a four year old son who enjoys using his Edubuntu workstation 
I'm new to the Ubuntu-Women group and want to become more actively involved in Ubuntu development and Open Source Advocacy. I've been a linux user since 1997 where I started with a boxed retail version of Caldera OpenLinux Desktop.
